This wonderful antique Edwardian suffragette pendant has been lovingly crafted in sweeping curves of 9ct Yellow Gold. The delicate golden chain joins the uppermost Peridot gallery, with a lavaliere drop beneath. Three more beautiful, bright Peridots adorn the top of the piece. Floral motifs flow through the pendant’s heart, with each leaf and flower punctuated with lustrous pearls.
A single purple Amethyst hangs beneath the main body of the pendant, completing the piece with a splash of colour.
The colours of the precious gems in this piece represent the Suffragette movement’s key pledge – Green for Give, White for Women and Violet for Votes.
This is a beautifully constructed piece, steeped in the heritage of the struggle for women’s rights.
